How was School??

So the infamous question, how was school? Claire has been talking about "her" school for a little over a month now, ever since Uncle Frank told her she would be going. Then she got a letter from her teacher and she would talk about her teacher. We practiced saying her name--Claire can repeat it , but doesn't say it on her own yet . So when we called to tell my Mom about her first day it was strange she didn't want to get on the phone. A little while later she wanted to call Mom (after leaving a message for Aunt TiTi about her "school"- no answer). Since she was in the mood , we called Mom back and Claire said "school.....teacher"and on my prompt "Mrs Babiez" Then Mom asked her what she did??????


"I painted"

"look Daddy, I got some on my hand"

......................"that's ok honey it'll wash off"

Her masterpiece will be displayed at the school's Oktoberfest!
